  3. Welcome to St Robert of Newminster Catholic School and Sixth Form College. We are a voluntary aided 11-18 mixed Catholic comprehensive school with over 1,600 students on roll. The school serves the Catholic parishes in Washington, Birtley, Penshaw, Houghton and Hetton. It is situated in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle.
