Orchestral auteur Owen Pallett appears on the epic, introductory “No Reservation / Love Comes Crashing,” where spectral classical strings shimmer around Menzies’ frenzied, near blast-beating crescendo.
Apr 7, 2024 · While Up on Gravity Hill doesn’t necessarily reflect the sound of those projects in particular, it does feel like the work of a group finding inspiration beyond the narrow parameters they once set for themselves, exploring sounds that enchant as much as pummel.
There is definitely a few METZ chords that I've, over time leaned on for our sound. I'm really not sure how it happened or developed but we knew that traditional bar chords or octaves were not gonna cut it.
