When the Legion of Doom is fighting the JLA, Luthor is accidentally trapped in ice. In 2856, his frozen body is found and it is displayed in a museum. While mocking Luthor, Karate Kid inadvertently breaks the ice, freeing Luthor, who steals an hourglass containing the powerful Time Trapper and returns to present times.
