In Further Maths you get to study subjects like Complex Numbers, Matrices, Centres of Mass and Circular Motion. You also get placed in a class with other Further Maths students for both the Further Maths and the Regular Maths content.

Loreto offers GCSE re-sits in English Language and Maths to students who have not yet achieved a Grade 4 or higher. This is a Government requirement. Loreto students perform very well on these courses.
Mathematics contributes two-thirds of the course and involves primarily mathematical proof, geometry and algebra.
