So the could consider the ending of Goblin as maybe the last 3 to 4 episodes, which definitely were not all happy. After Goblin, I watch Touch Your Heart to see the Reaper and Sunny in their true ending.
It’s happy. The reason why some people view it as sad is because of a certain event that happens in the last episode and the vagueness surrounding the future of the Goblin and his bride. Plus, in the series they tend to couple the word “love” with the word “tragic” way to much which leaves the wrong impression in viewers.
TLDR: The ending is quite open ended as you end up assuming what happens afterwards i.e. a happy ending vs. forever happy ending vs. temporary happy ending. I personally felt sad.
