Whether I’m happy or upset with her actions, Gloria being in a scene has never made me bored. Also, her character is supposed to be a stereotype. Any episode that focuses on her is portrayed as a telenovela with the “you married the wrong sister” and “woman took down my business” plot lines.
I just started watching modern family in order and while I love Gloria her character becomes way more annoying, rude, and self-centered as the seasons progress. Now I find myself starting to hate her character. She was so funny and sweet in the beginning but now she’s becoming so stuck up. It makes me sad. Does anyone else feel this way?
Sure she can be loud and too over the top sometimes but if all characters were just ordinary the show would be boring. Also she does have nice moments with the others aswell. I like the on screen chemistry with Phil there is quite a few scenes with those too.

‘Integrity’ - Season 6, Episode 21

‘The Last Halloween’ - Season 11, Episode 5
One of the things Gloria loved most about her relationship with Jay was that no one suspected they were husband and wife. ‘Unplugged’ - Season 2, Episode 5
