Hey guys, I bought a bbq10 and it keeps saying no network connection. After some troubleshooting it seems like it might be because I am using it only on WiFi and without a SIM card. Before I go buy a nano to micro sim adapter and save the trouble, does anyone know if that’s the problem?
DO NOT connect to Wi-Fi until this fix is completed--you will have issues if you do so. Start up your device and proceed to the "Connect To A Mobile Network" screen. Press the Power button of your device three times in quick succession.
When you do have data, what does it say at the top for your network connectivity? Does it say 3G or HDSPA+ (H+)? You can also try swapping your SIM with a friend to see if the problem goes away if you don't want to risk a charge.
