Jan 8, 2024 · Verily, repenting of one’s sins is the first step towards seeking forgiveness from Allah. To repent means to return to Allah and intend to obey Him for the rest of one’s life. For repentance to be valid and, thus, accepted, five preconditions have to be observed; these are: 1. To be sincere to Allah.
