    • Thundercats (Hulu) Just recently, Hulu has brought Thundercats (and its 2011 reboot) to its streaming platform which includes all 130 episodes. The Rankin/Bass produced series was a syndicated gem that spawned toys, comics, video games, and much more licensed merchandise throughout its initial run from 1985-89.
    • G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero (Tubi, YouTube) Joe: A Real Americanwas a syndicated animated series in the 1980s that originally began as the first animated 5-part miniseries in television history.
    • Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears (Disney+) Loosely inspired by its candynamesake, Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bearsfeatured the mythic and mystical bears of Gummi Glen.
    • The Smurfs (HBO Max, Boomerang, YouTube) Produced by Hanna Barbera, the longest running Saturday morning animated series of the '80s was The Smurfs. During it's run from 1981-89, 256 total episodes (417 unique stories) aired on NBC along with seven TV specials.
    • Inspector Gadget (1983) The classic Inspector Gadget is currently streaming on Paramount+.
    • DuckTales (1987) Although the contemporary reboot of DuckTales is excellent, the original show is still near and dear to our hearts. Along with the new show, that DuckTales is streaming on Disney+.
    • Adventures of the Gummi Bears (1985) Rember that killer theme song? The Adventures of the Gummi Bears is streaming on Disney+.
    • He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (1985) He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is, in some ways, the most important ‘80s cartoon of them all. Most of the show is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
