Jul 19, 2020 · Once in Ishigaki, you have the choice between Ishigaki City and Kabira Bay to go scuba diving. Be aware that Kabira Bay dive centres only open in the high season from April to October. There is a decent bus network on the island which can take you to most places worth going. Thanks to a daily pass, it is an excellent value for money.
