Spiny lobsters link together during their long trip. Winter is on its way. Caribbean spiny lobsters make a long chain. It’s time for their yearly trip, or migration. Many animals migrate. This means they move from one place to another. They look for food. They look for places to have babies. How do the lobsters know when to go?

For example, Caribbean spiny lobsters (Panulirus argus) typically exhibit fall movements from bays and shallow coastal areas into deeper waters (Herrnkind, 1980).
