Charms are consumable items that boost the stats of the trap. The statistics of the three components combine to determine the statistics of your trap as a whole. Sep 26, 2024 · Charms are often optional but helpful additions to trap setups, adding unique boosts that can tweak a trap's effectiveness in a given region or even against a specific mouse. Unlike weapons and bases, charms are consumable; each charm has its own unique properties, but most are consumed upon encountering a mouse.

Assassins have to engage with monsters unlike sorcs who can teleport to avoid certain areas or mobs. If these new charms don’t affect traps then they shouldn’t exist. Your giving sorcs even bigger advantages than they already have.
TL;DR: using charms may give you ~10% of xp increase in your hunt if you are a RP, ~5% for EK and ~7% if you are a mage. I'm hunting werehyenas killing ~1,000 werehyenas (670 common and 330 shaman) per hour. I have Divine Wrath (holy) for Werehyena and Freeze (ice) for Werehyena Shaman.

Traps no, it only adds to weapons damage. LF still carries the physical weapon damage iirc, so it should add to that. It shouldn't transport through the lightning, though, so for example a cold damage charm will only chill the enemy you actually hit, not all the ones the lightning spreads to.
