Aug 14, 2024 · Full Ikon Pass holders can ski in Chamonix for 7 days during the 24/25 winter season, with no blackout dates. It’s slightly different if you have the less expensive Base Pass, in which case you can ski any five days outside peak season (i.e. not during the following blackout dates: 26-31 Dec 2024, 18-19 Jan 2025 and 15-16 Feb 2025).

Most of the resorts used the RFID scanner so you don't need to show the pass. Some resorts still need to scan you though like Big bear and Mt Tremblant. There are only a couple of resorts you need to go to the counter to get a different pass and thats in South american and Japan

Steamboat uses the RFID feature of the card (other mountains may not) so you just need to have it in a left-side pocket when you go thru the scanner at the lift.
