- Keep the doors open: The doors are the largest waste of power in the entire game. Sure you could keep them closed at all times to ward off enemies but that'd defeat the purpose of the game.
- Use lights sparingly and only under attack: Five Nights at Freddy's is immensely reliant on auditory cues. If you run around checking cameras and flipping on lights when you don't need to, you'll never have enough power to get through the night.

Just Close the Left Door
A rather simple strategy can be used more successfully on this night compared to other nights: that is to simply close the left door and do not do anything else. Do not check the Hall Lights, and do not check the Monitor. This works because if Foxy leaves Pirate Coveto attack, the left door will prevent him from entering and attacking the player.
