I just re-watched Living in Oblivion yesterday for the milionth time, and let me tell you: it’s one of my all-time favorite films. I love pretty much everything on it including – but not limited to – the clever screenplay, the amazing cast, and the overall dream-like quality it has.
Director Tom DiCillo didn't want to beg people for money to make this film, so he asked his actors if they would work for free. All of them agreed and most of them even put up money themselves.
