- Sasuke literally tried to kill Sakura. Starting with the obvious, not only do Sakura and Sasuke have seemingly zero chemistry, they also have an incredibly violent history.
- Sakura's obsession over Sasuke started over nothing. Sometimes anime relationships can be truly epic, with characters coming together after incredible journeys of danger and self-sacrifice, and rewarding arcs of development and growth.
- Sakura loves Sasuke even when he does evil things. Sakura's feelings for Sasuke already bring her intellect into question, but as Team 7 continues to pursue Sasuke and discover the death and destruction he participates in, her continuing devotion brings her morals into question as well.
- Sakura and Ino destroy their friendship over Sasuke. Girls fighting over guys has been a theme in storytelling since forever, but anime is actually more known for taking the rivals-but-still-friends route.
- He Always Notices Her First. During part two of Naruto, Team Seven often gets reunited, and it usually is an extremely painful experience for all members.
- His Expressions In Part II. Sasuke makes a lot of expressions during Part II that aren't replicated in the anime very well. One of these times is when Sasuke is at his darkest and knows that Sakura is up to something when she comes to see him.
- Physical Contact. Throughout the manga, Sasuke isn't as wary of physical contact, if and only if, that contact is coming from Sakura. It is also pointed out that whenever another girl gets close to him—like Ino or Karin—he pushes them away or tells them to get off of him.
- Sasuke Gets Jealous. Throughout the manga, Sasuke gets jealous when he cannot be the one to save Sakura. The show frames it like Sasuke is more upset at himself for not being strong enough, but the manga shows that it is always related to not being Sakura's savior.

Apr 14, 2022 · Did Sasuke Marry Sakura Out of Guilt? No, he did not marry Sakura out of guilt. Sasuke had shown signs of affection for Sakura throughout the series if you pay close attention to the manga panels, this was not apparent in the anime though.
