I chose a planned c-section as most breeched baby's in a first time mom still end up in a c-section if they try to do it vaginally. For me, I decided I would take the medical risk of a major surgery in stead of the baby a breech birth. Baby was born 6 days after diagnosis at 40+1.

The consultants have therefore recommended an elective c section at 39 weeks. They did however say they would scan me again on the day of the section to see if baby has moved to head down.
