The Joan Rivers Show is an American first-run syndicated talk show that was hosted by Joan Rivers. The show ran for four seasons from September 5, 1989, to December 26, 1993.
In the 1960s Rivers performed at many comedy clubs in the Greenwich Village. Her big break came when she appeared on ‘The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson’ in 1965. Eventually she got her own talk-show 'That Show with Joan Rivers' in 1969.
In 1986, with her own rival program, The Late Show with Joan Rivers, Rivers became the first woman to host a late night network television talk show. She subsequently hosted The Joan Rivers Show (1989–1993), winning a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show Host.
