  2. The characters have settled into catering as their whole lives, and given up on dreaming (sad); The characters are doing something different, and the show isn't really Party Down anymore. It will still have funny moments, and the cast will be great, but it's not going to be successful.

  3. The dry humour matched with the hilarious situational comedy made this show so funny, and I absolutely love that they only focused on each event that they were catering/attending, making us care about that characters despite never actually observing their personal lives outside of work.
