Degania Alef (Hebrew: דְּגַנְיָה א', Hebrew pronunciation: ['dɡanja 'alef]) is a kibbutz in northern Israel. The Jewish communal settlement was founded in 1910, making it the earliest socialist Zionist farming commune in the Land of Israel.

Kibbutz Degania (Aleph) is Israel's first kibbutz making it a very special and unique place. The kibbutz is located at the southern end of the Sea of Galilee (Kinneret), in what is known as the Jordan Valley and was first settled in 1910.
Degania Alef was established in 1911 and is one of the first kibbutz. It was the site of a major battle in the War of Independence in 1948. The Gordon Museum of History and Nature is housed at the kibbutz.
