For example: Phione: Auqa Boomerang - 20 damage - Return this Pokemon and all cards attached to it to your hand. and. Acerola (need to have at least one damage counter), AZ, Super Scoop Up, Scoop Up Cyclone (Ace Spec), Cheren's Care (Acerola but only for Normal Types) are trainers cards that can take your Bench Pokemon to your Hand.
Once a Pokemon is in play (on your bench counts as in play) you can only take it back into your hand through use of something like a Super Scoop-Up. However, I do not know where to find the rule that explicitly states this.

No Pokemon can be removed from the bench back onto your hand, unless that Pokemon has an ability that allows that action, or if you use an item card that allows you to do so. Also, unless something specifically says so, a benched card has no attack, or ability?
