   No 😔 it's like a sims 2 sort of deal, you're stuck with the plot you're on only. As some have mentioned, you can maybe buy it as retail space, but you are better off saving your build to your gallery and placing it on a larger lot space.

   You could move your current house to a bigger lot. Go into build mode and save the lot to your library (one of the buttons in the top middle panel). Once saved, move your family to a bigger lot - doesn't matter if there's a house there or not.
