Sep 20, 2022 · COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing is excited to announce that Ohioans can now apply to be a new real estate salesperson online. The new service becomes available as the Division handled more than 7,000 new license applications in 2021, a 37% increase from 2019.
You must submit a completed Salesperson Examination Application, a $60 fee, and proof that you completed your education requirements to the Ohio Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing. (You may either submit a copy of your official transcripts or course completion certificates.)

To get a certificate of completion (proof that you completed the 120-hours of pre-licensing education), you need to pass the course’s final exam with a score of 70% or higher.
