As with all utility mobs, iron golems can be leashed. The leashed iron golem does not try to break from the lead when it sees a hostile mob. Instead, it looks at the mob while moving. An iron golem that is leashed in mid-air moves its arms and legs while moving.

Mar 8, 2024 · As with all utility mobs in Minecraft, iron golems can be leashed. You can attach a lead to an iron golem by right-clicking on it with a lead in your hand. This will keep the golem tied to a specific spot or allow you to lead it around.

Jul 26, 2013 · They cannot escape, unless they glitch out. They will attack hostile mobs, not just protect you, yet it gives the same effect. So Iron golems are good to have around, and I leash them to fences, and then I am rarely attacked! It is awesome.
