Dec 21, 2019 · You get a lot better movement, graphics aren't a fair comparison because Portal 2 was released 4 years after Portal. Portal 2 has a better plot but the way Portal tells the story adds a lot to the atmosphere.
I think at the very least I would want it to involve Aperture, GLaDOS and testing. The main problem is that I don’t want a sequel to ruin the beautiful ending of Portal 2. An easy fix for that would be to go the Portal Stories: Mel route and follow a different test subject other than Chell.

This is the game that drove me to write this article. It features a third portal that allows traveling between two different timelines and it is the closest thing to a Portal 3 out there. The perfect addition to make your brain hurt even more. And guess what? It’s free!

They publish one game in the series, look at reception, find out what they did wrong and then do a basically perfect sequel that fixes everything and becomes one of the best games ever both in their respective genre and overall (Half-Life 2, Portal 2, Left 4 Dead 2).
This was actually my first time playing through Portal 2 and I had an incredible time. We discussed what makes this experience unlike any other and how Valve was able to make a successful sequel to an already perfect game.
