In fact, Big Mom was still floating around in the magma when Kaido joined her, meaning it's entirely possible for them to survive the heat itself. Hell, even Oden lasted an hour in a boiling pot, so why couldn't these two survive magma?
Kaido can presumably produce flames even hotter than magma so I don't see why he couldn't survive magma.

Kaido puts Oden in a giant bowl of boiling oil, telling him to survive for an hour on it. Oden does survive one hour after which he dies. Kaido, being the strongest creature, could presumably survive in boiling oil more than one hour.
