  4. Jul 8, 2015 · 0. Upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 7 appears to totally knock out Windows Live Mail and all of its settings and stored emails. The new Mail program does not seem to have any way to import stored messages from WLM. My solution was to install Firefox on Windows 7 and use its import/export tool, change over to Firefox.

  5. Nov 1, 2020 · Yes & no. It depends on whether the Live Mail email accounts use pop or imap. If imap then by adding the account to the mail app it will pick up all folders created & synced to the account. If pop then you’d have to create the folders manually. If the folders are within the storage folders (of WLM) then these cannot be synced.
