Takaya Aiba (aka D-Boy) is the main protagonist of Tekkaman Blade, who also transforms into the titular hero of the same name. In the English-dub version, he is known as Nick Carter/Ness Carter and his transformed state is dubbed as Teknoman Blade.
The mobile support unit used by Blade to transform into Tekkaman Blade (Teknoman) after his crystal is shattered. Pegas has a deep, bland strong voice which is easily recognizable. He can be activated by voice command, or by remote from the Space Knight Central Command.
The Space Knights have been unsuccessful at repelling the aliens until the arrival of D-Boy, a young man who has the ability to transform into an armored warrior known as Tekkaman Blade. Commanding the Radam is Tekkaman Omega, a Tekkaman general who leads the alien invasion of Earth.

However, its most crucial function lies in aiding D-Boy. After losing his transformation crystal due to a trap set by Tekkaman Dagger, Pegas became essential in triggering D-Boy's transformation into Tekkaman.
