Dec 16, 2015 · There aren’t many films about Theseus. 2011’s Immortals, directed by Tarsem Singh, features the Greek hero, but the plot deviates quite remarkably from the original story (to the point where, once again, I have to wonder why the creators didn’t just forego the use of some Greek elements in favour of making it a straight-up fantasy movie).
Theseus is a mortal man chosen by Zeus to lead the fight against the ruthless King Hyperion, who is on a rampage across Greece to obtain a weapon that can destroy humanity.
