If you are looking for a great story that differs heavily from the original, consider Rocket Edition. If you are looking for a great story that keeps in line with the original, consider Dark Violet. If you want a Firered with a bit more difficulty and a bunch more features, consider Firered Omega.

I'm looking for a complete FireRed hack with all Pokemon from gen 1-3 obtainable, and a physical/special split. Does this exist? Everything I find is either not complete, doesn't have P/S split, or has Pokemon from generations past 1-3.
