As we know, from lvl 1 to 50 respecing is actually very cheap. You can easily experiment with every single ability in the game, and change your build without even having to farm gold. Only in the late game, total respecs are more expensive, but even then small adjustments are relatively cheap.

Respec cost doesn't even matter once you reach certain levels cost wise, in beta I thought it was much easier when I was higher level than lower level to respec personally... If you are worried about end game, you aren't going to struggle with gold if you know how to make money (which is also easy).
High respec cost = you will need to create hundreds of characters to play optimally. Diablo 2 gave out 3 free respecs and made it fairly easy (a few hours; far shorter than making a new character) to acquire more.

May 27, 2023 · You can respec your character completely for free up to level 15. The higher your character level is after level 15, the more gold it will cost to respec. Make sure you carefully plan out your build before investing in skills that you might not need.
