Physiologically, they are much more resilient than most Star Wars species. Most of the Zabrak characters seen in Star Wars are dauntless warriors of some kind.
Zabraks were a species of near-humans that had evolved to be tough due to the nature of their homeworld Iridonia. The species was carnivorous and had two hearts, which allowed them to pump oxygenated blood around their systems more quickly than other species meaning they could go faster for longer.

The Sith's eventual defeat cultivates in so many deaths of their Zabrak allies that they became an endangered species and went to Dathomir in a mass migration, even if they've never been to Dathomir themselves.
Mar 10, 2024 · Since Dathomirian Zabraks are portrayed as evil, it makes sense that Zabraks we see here tend to have more Sith-like skin colors, like yellow and orange. So, they are technically the same...
Maul/Opress and Eeth Koth/Agen Kolar are all Zabraks but they look nothing alike. Different origin planets. Some came from Dathomir (Maul, Savage), others came from Iridonia (Eeth Koth). I assume there is a lore-based origin story somewhere, but that’s the short of it.
