  2. So many random comments, but as far as I know the first few years of 2.5L engines (mainly Hawkeyes I think, so from 2005) are the ones to avoid. They have a serious head gaskets reliability problem. A part from that just don't buy over-modded cars or ones with too many owners as others have said.
