Aug 30, 2021 · Simond are an old Chamonix family who have been making good equipment for a long time. In 2008 Simond became part of the Decathlon group and enjoy all the advantages found with economy of scale. In my opinion there are no downsides, buy their kit and enjoy it.
Dec 11, 2016 · I've got a few of the heavy base layers that are ME Eclipse / patagucci r1 clones which are toasty. I've recently picked up the Simond hybrid insulated jacket which has been awesome. All in this equates to about a hundred quid spent and it is money very well spent. Is it as good as Rab, ME et al?
Flamethrower is a good Fire type move: good accuracy, STAB, and with no side effects. The powerful Fire attacks are for hard hits, to make sure the opponent takes serious damage. Close Combat is a good Fighting type move.

Simond gear is guinualy good. It's more catered towards beginning/intermediate climbers, but we do have some nice high end stuff as well. Price/quality wise it's already great, and since I've got an employee reduction of 30% on top of that, I almost exclusively use Simond stuff.
