Section 400 seats are the best of all worlds: you'll enjoy a full view of the entire Sphere, there are no obstruction zones, and seats are the cheapest available. Things are different for The Sphere concerts: Section 400, while still offering good seats and a good view for some, aren't close enough to stage for others.
We had seats in the 100 group (actually, section 108 but I think this holds for all level 100 sections) and if you're in rows higher than 20, it looks like you're looking out from inside a clam shell. the overhang for the 200 section is so far out front and so close to the 100 section (height-wise) that you get a seriously obstructed view of the screen. so the good thing is you're closer to ...
Sat in section 206, second row from the top of section and I don’t think there is a better seat in the house. The mixing board is right above you so everything is optimized to that spot. Because we were in the dead center there was zero distortion in the visuals. Everything looked perfectly straight as it should even though the screen is curved.
Postcard From Earth seating is broken up into 3 distinct levels: 200, 300, and 400. Section 306 is considered to be the best seats for The Sphere Experience as the view from here is like looking through the director’s lens. The 200 and 300 levels offer the best of both worlds with an unobstructed view from floor to ceiling.

There is a sense of vertigo when you first enter the actual sphere and walk to your seats but was fine once situated. The view is stellar. You are a bit far from the band but sound and visuals are astounding. People stood up and danced for certain songs in the 400 section.
