Feb 14, 2020 · While every other interconnect I've tried has a markedly duller and less focused sound than the KCAG, the silver Kimber can be less of a good thang if the rest of your rig tends toward brightness, which is just how things are right now in my He-Man rig.
Jan 8, 2012 · Kimber PBJ are little chaotic but full of life and overally grade (and cheap as hell), Silver Streak are more transparent additionally. Kimber TC4 and TC8 are grade, but TC8 gives more air, more controll on the lower end.
Jul 24, 2002 · Compared to the Kimber PBJ, the Silver Streaks really pull this off. Of course, it depends on the quality of your recording and the CDP. Right now, I'm using the Cambridge Audio D500SE, which is, admittedly, a bit of a budget player, but it'll do the job for now, and you can upgrade the power cord, which is next on the list.
Jun 25, 2008 · The PBJ's are a little on the bright side which helps give my EL34-based system a little more zing (as do my Triangle Silver Ghost speaker cables, a stranded Cu/Ag hybrid cable, which replaced Audioquest Type 4 solid core copper cable in my system). I may upgrade to Kimber Silver Streak in the future.
Jan 9, 2012 · Unfortunately they're extremely expensive, but if you're shopping in that price range, I recommend giving them a try. Kimber's Silver Streak is awesome too, IMO.
Better 3D soundstage, better and natural mid-range and clarity. I strongly believe that Kimber Silver Streak is by far the best cable on the market and one of the very best at any price. The two best cables in this price category are Kimber's SilverStreak and Van Den Hul The First Ultimate.

It's price to performance ratio is very high, and the parts quality is excellent, using "varistrand" high purity copper in teflon, in a three wire braid with one signal conductor and two returns.
