But there were some upgrades that I wasn’t able to find any examples of in the wild, including recessing in-cabinet lighting and adding drawer fronts for an inset, full custom cabinetry look.
With birch ply at $190 for an 8x4 sheet, you are getting precut and pre drilled risers and shelves for $60. Shoot ‘em with primer then paint ‘em, add some structural framing and float ‘em, you can’t beat em. Properly assembled and treated they look amazing for the price and last. One of the best deals at IKEA.
