The answer to “what are the best traps” is kind of subjective. My “top tier” traps (i.e. ones I use the most often) are wall darts, wooden floor spikes, ceiling electric fields, and healing pads. I also like using broadsides in a traditional 1x1 tunnel. And I like using tire drops over any incline.
Ceiling zapper: Highest trap dmg in game: 600! Only good to use at the end of a tunnel, because of it's super long reload and single target. Wall light: Very useful utility trap as it stuns longer than soundwall. Useful in a time out box, along with tar pit, broadside and gas trap!

Wall and Floor Launchers are great for stalling and staggering Husks, especially if you trap tunnel in a "mini-maze" configuration (2x2 trap tunnel). They are also pretty good at protecting the walls of the objective as well, especially with a 6th Healing or Building Strength Perk!
