Obviously, some of these ideas belong in antiquity, to put it lightly. Nowadays football and politics are not as connected as before, but remnants certainly remain. It's a good guess if you assume that an APOEL fan will vote for right-wing parties, or an Omonoia fan for AKEL, but it's not as prominent as before.
