#TreesAreTheKey tells the story of why the world needs to plant more trees in the tropics and why we need to take care of the people tending the forests: it is a blueprint for mitigating change change and alleviating poverty and hunger in Kenya.
In Feb 2019 I made a film for the Word Forest Foundation documenting the work of their partners in Kenya.Voiced by Kate Winslet, this inspirational 40-minute documentary has been made in conjunction with The Word Forest Organisation, a Dorset charity that plants trees, builds classrooms and facilitates education in rural Kenya.
