Hackett started racing go-karts as a child at Stateline Speedway in King George, Virginia and by age 15 had won his first track championship. In 1998 at 16, he started racing dirt late model cars at Virginia Motor Speedway and Potomac Speedway.
Travis is the standoffish sheriff of the small town of North Kill, Upstate New York. He has sworn an oath to protect and serve the people of the town and other residents who live near it such as Hackett's Quarry. Even if sometimes he is shown to be more of a creepy helper by most people.
