Dr McCormack has made considerable contributions to clinical trials both nationally and internationally, and she is the Chief Investigator for many ongoing studies. Currently, she is the Chair of the Cervical Cancer Research Network (CCRN), an executive member of the Gynaecologic Cancer Intergroup, and a member of the International Gynaecologic Cancer Society’s education committee.

It involved 500 patients who had been diagnosed with locally advanced cervical cancer at centres in the UK, Brazil, Italy, India, and Mexico.
