The premise of the show is pretty cool and the best story of any WB era show- 4 members of royalty on a far away planet were murdered during a coup and their essence/dna was spliced together with human dna. They were sent to Earth to bide time until they could return and take back power.
The original Roswell is better. It is my favorite show of all time. You will not regret it. It is sad it only got 3 seasons but it ends which is good and not on a cliffhanger like most series that are cancelled. The new one I couldn't even get thru the first episode it does not compare.
Roswell, New Mexico admirably adds modern political context to its premise, but this reboot hews too closely to its predecessor to transcend the pitfalls of a redundant retread. Read Critics...
