Working a 9-5 is way better than starting your own business and being your own boss. My view: Work for a company, develop a particular skill set, get good at that skill and climb higher in that career and make more money. Not necessarily saying stick with one company, but climb in that industry and make more money.
Instead of everyone working 9-5 and going to bars after, we do much better things like: Grab lunch / coffee during the day when the sun is out. Go for walks. Take fitness classes during the day together. Go skiing and play on team sports leagues together. Meet other entrepreneurs.
