The Rampart Range is located in Douglas, El Paso, and Teller counties and is part of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. The Rampart Range is delineated by the South Platte River on the north and Manitou Springs and Woodland Park on the south - all within the Pike National Forest.

Camp hosts are located in the Flat Rocks Campground and at Rim Road.
Ute Pass is located west of Colorado Springs, to the north of Pikes Peak and is located along U.S. Highway 24. From west to east, the pass traverses through Divide, Woodland Park, Green Mountain Falls, Chipita Park and Cascade. [1]
