CD single (part two) " Disco 2000 " is a song by British band Pulp, included on the band's fifth album, Different Class (1995). Featuring a disco -inspired musical performance, the song was based on Pulp singer Jarvis Cocker 's childhood memories of his friend Deborah Bone, who he had "fancied" in his youth but could never impress.
