  1. 1 day ago · Now that you have a Google account, it's time to create your first document. Go to Google Docs and click on the "Blank Document" rectangle with the multi-colored "+" icon. If you're using Google Chrome, you can type "docs.new" directly into the address bar to create and open a new blank document.
