Hi People, I have a PowerGen share certificate and am trying to get my finances in order and was going to sell them. I've looked on the london stock exchange website and newspapers and other websites but can't see any share prices for PowerGen shares.

We are currently reviewing details of a family members shares and there are some stated for National Power PLC and Powergen PLC, but from researching, they don't exist! Does anyone know who has bought the company and does anyone know how we can cash/retrieve these shares!
I recently moved home and uncovered some old PowerGen shares. I have been trying to discover if they are still valid or not as PowerGen is now E-on. I have contacted E-on who keep trying to fob me off. Eon took over Powergen around 2002-03. From memory, EON purchased Powergen shares at £7.60 ish each.
Mar 16, 2014 · Powergen - Formerly East Midlands Electricity EDF were the only company that got in touch. I was on the telephone for nearly two hours on Thursday, and to be honest, they were friendly but in the end not very helpful with the information provided. Not intentionally, EDF provided me with dud 0800 telephone numbers to call that are no longer used.
Nov 15, 2005 · Powergen should hopefully elect to arrange for a metering inspector to visit to appraise their metering system. On their new bills, whatever is connected to the 'Domestic General' billing has been changed from an economy rate to a standard daytime tariff - and the fact that it is a tiered rate means that they are in effect now paying two standing charges.

Mar 23, 2005 · Powergen - Standing Charge £36.71pa – 5.89p per unit On age concern there are discounts of £22.50pa for Direct Debit and Powergen have discounts of £43pa for Direct Debit, On-line and one bill. So with the exception of the gas standing charge, everything is a higher cost on Age Concern's tariff than on the other Powergen tariff.
