Aug 16, 2024 · Outlook is Office365 running new Outlook so all is automatically up to date. MacOS is current also. The issue IS new Outlook....MS wanting me to transition back to Legacy Outlook, but can guarantee integrity of my folders so this is a non-option. Will be on the phone again w MS Support for help to see what new options they might offer.

Oct 9, 2024 · Another particular problem is that the new Outlook no longer allows multiple mailboxes to be merged into a single inbox, which makes managing multiple email accounts considerably more difficult. If MAIL is phased out without NEW Outlook having the options I need, I will be forced move my computer to Thunderbird email and eventually away from all Microsoft products all together.
Sep 23, 2024 · I have been using new Outlook for a while, but it has started refusing to open - when I click on it, there's no reaction and nothing showing as running in Task Manager. Old Outlook opens fine and I can also access my email via Outlook online. I have tried: Multiple restarts. Uninstalling and reinstalling new Outlook (multiple times)
Apr 16, 2024 · New Outlook is not an email productivity tool and it is not even a light/basic version of an email software package. The classic outlook was a much of a productive tool than the New Outlook and I wish Microsoft shelves New Outlook and brings back classic. Missing/not working in New Outlook - Cannot search text in an email.

Please note that Outlook Express is discontinued and EOL , Hence you can use Windows Mail or Outlook New which are free and both are available from Microsoft Windows store.
It's as if the programmers that created New Outlook have never used an email program with the need of being productive. New Outlook also feels like it's a barely functional beta version. Quite bluntly - New Outlook is like a throwback to the 90's and stinks.
