Feb 14, 2011 · Jean Case marked knives are NOT seconds, Jean Case marked knives were just a sub-brand of Kinfolks like those marked Kin-Foe. Knife shown is likely pre-war (WW2) but they are not technically Case knives and therefore do not command the prices of true Case made knives, even those made at the Kinfolks factory.

May 13, 2007 · The Kinfolks book says that the Jean Case catalog consisted entirely of production blade overuns and seconds from the Case family companies. Blades were stamped with the Jean Case name - it was never really a manufacturer. I'm just stating what I read there. Is that accurate?

Feb 10, 2022 · Jean Case fixed blade sheath knife. This is a Case Family "Kinsfolk" (Little Valley,NY 1925-57) fixed blade knife that was stamped "Jean Case Cut. Co., Little Valley" sometime between 1930 and 1949. Not sure the sheath is original. For some reason sheath is stamped "Made in Germany.

May 17, 2024 · This is a Jean Case Cut Co hunting knife made in Little Valley, NY. Jean was the brother of W.R. (William Russell) Case and uncle of Russ Case. This knife is in outstanding condition. It measures 9 inches overall. The 5" carbon steel blade is bright and sharp.
